Raised on the legendary King Ranch, it seemed natural for Helen Groves to become an ambassador for the equine industry. Over the years she became known as the “First Lady of Cutting.” She spent more than two decades breeding, raising, and riding cutting horses on her ranch, while also competing at almost every major show. Groves also established herself as a major presence in breeding and racing thoroughbreds, as well as a leading supporter of equine research.
