The National Cowgirl Museum & Hall of Fame Traveling Trunk has become a standard teaching tool for many educators and librarians in the North Texas area. It contains cowboy/cowgirl artifacts, a teacher resource guide, lesson plans, literacy tips, and a curated collection of books written for a variety of reading levels. It can be used before or after a Museum visit, or as part of your curriculum to encourage students to learn about our national and international Cowgirl Honorees, their relationship with the horse, and their independence that helped shape the West. The trunk can be checked out for a two week period on a first-come, first-served basis with a completed request form and $25 refundable deposit.
