From her debut as a trick rider in 1930 through her later competitions in trick, fancy and relay riding, Alice Van-Springsteen performed in major rodeos from New York to Australia. A world champion trick rider, Van-Springsteen was only the second woman to receive a trainer’s license. She eventually began working in the movie industry, becoming one of the most sought-after stunt riders in Hollywood. Van-Springsteen appeared in many films and television programs as a stunt double.
